Sirohi is a breed of Rajasthan and performs good as dual purpose (both milk and meat). However that happened because somehow a breed market have been developed in home tract and all people like you had been looking for this breed, this helps local community for quality goat selection.
However it is always prudent to use parent mother goats (does) from local area and at most go for breeding buck of any preferred breed.
SIrohi can adjust with local condition but plane of nutrition and care has to be very high. It shall not only cost you high price for goats but also care shall be costly, which any way shall take time to get repaid. If you are starting a small goat farm form pocket money, I shall suggest select best local goats (body weight, coat shining, twins) and purchase breeding buck of Sirohi or Beetal (better for Bihar) and develop your own stock in next 2 to 3 years.
