Explanation: Hello. i dont know if this is the right place to ask such a thing, but i will try :-)
Since the start of this year, when ever i walk out side, i have to spit every now and then. In a built up around this would be every few minutes, in the country it is more like every few seconds. I believe that this is down to a phobia of swallowing insects, but i have never suffered from this before this year. As it gets hotter out side, the affects are getting werse and i am worried that this will dominate my whole summer.
any advice or suggest to what this may be?
Answer: Hi there,
There is no advisor yet for this subject but I will try and formulate an answer. If the spitting is a result of a phobia of swallowing insects you will have part of the solution already. Try and get rid of that phobia. I checked some internet sites and there are several by people who can help you with that. http://www.changethatsrightnow.com/problem_detail.asp?SDID=824:1531 is an example of such site, it might not be the best for your case but it has some information that could help. http://ezinearticles.com/?Fear-of-Insects---How-to-Overcome-Phobia-of-Insects-Easily&id= 1560963 is another site with information. If the source of your problem is not a phobia then you might want to consult a GP, you might suffer from a physical -I am inclined to call it 'defect' but I do not ever wish to offend in any way. If I did I apologise- which might be curable by medicine. I hope this helps..
