Potterton boiler keeps cutting out and noisey

I had a Potterton Suprima 120 installed in 1998, it started cutting out and needs to reset. Once every two weeks now has increased to two/three times a day. When working sometimes the pump seems to be noisy when circulating the water. I am wondering whether this is an expensive repair and may be worth it or should I just install a new boiler instead? For example Valliant rather than

[Asked in topic Central heating]

Via: Advisors 4 Free

Is there any harm in covering a return?

I live in a condo & have one in my bathroom & in the winter I noticed cool air coming from it so I put a sheet of plactic over it sucked it closed. It's tiny 5"x5" It's warmer & I also noticed that the front door used to have a draft which now does not. My concern is will this cause damage somehow by covering it at least for the winter

[Asked in topic Central heating]

Via: Advisors 4 Free
